Equine Infrared Inspections

There are conditions that a horse may possess that may show no apparent physical symptoms but the horse may in fact suffer from any number of unnoticeable aliments. Infrared images can offer preventative care as it may show current to early stages of conditions such as inflammation or swelling for example. When such warning signs are detected, diagnostic measures can be taken and the monitoring of the treatment can be easily conducted. Equine infrared inspections can also be especially useful as a diagnostic method that can be accessed without having to take the horse to another facility or to determine the need for further testing, which may or may not be necessary.
